
- Every Friday by 9:00 p.m., an up-to-date list of next week's box contents and available substitutions will emailed to all customers. The list will include fresh organic fruits and vegetables that comprise a pre-selected weekly box, and three or four items that may be substituted for any of the pre-selected items. There are two different size boxes available Small-$27.00 and Large-$33.00 (Sarnia & Chatham Small-$29.00 & Large-$35.00). See current list for details.
- Customers may choose to double up on an item provided in the pre-selected box in lieu of a substitution from the list. Customers may also choose to add additional items from either list (the pre-selected box or the substitution list) at a cost of $ 2.00 per line item.
- Customers will have until 9:00 a.m. Monday to submit their choices for that week's delivery. A 24 hour hot-line, a fax line, and e-mail are all available to receive your orders. New customers have until 9:00 a.m. Monday to sign up for a delivery that week. New orders taken after this deadline will be for the following week. Existing customers who fail to request their substitutions by this time will be shipped a pre-selected box.
- Each week your produce will arrive in a reusable rubbermaid container. In order for us to keep our costs down and track the distribution of these containers we will charge a one time, 100% refundable deposit of $15. We encourage you to use these reusable containers, however, if you have another approach please let us know.
- In order to provide you with the freshest produce possible and to better fit your busy schedule we do all our deliveries between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. If this does not fit into your timetable we will do our best to make other arrangements with you.
- If there are certain items that you would prefer never to have included in your weekly box please let us know so we can accommodate you in our ordering process.
- So that we can stay on top of our accounts receivables we ask our customers to leave payment for each week's box as it is delivered. Most customers simply leave a cheque inside the previous week's empty box so that both can be retrieved when your current box is delivered. (For new customers we will make other arrangements to collect your payment)
- When starting the service we set each customer up on either a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. There is not a problem canceling your delivery for any given week, however, we ask that you inform us prior to 9:00 a.m. Monday. If you do not want a scheduled delivery, but fail to let us know by this deadline there will be a $15.00 cancellation charge.
- There will be a $10.00 service charge, payable before your next scheduled delivery, for any returned cheque.
- If there is ever any problems with the quality of the produce or the service, please let us now as soon as possible. WE WILL REPLACE THOSE ITEMS.
